This way she will not be bored just talking about you. By asking about her boyfriend you will also make it obvious that you are not trying to get with her. It will also help you bond with her and establish comfort. Now you are on your way to have a beautiful woman friend in your life.
Try to have as much fun as you can so things don't get boring. You want her to hang out with you again but she will not do this unless she has fun with you.
From this point on you keep calling her once in a while. Make small personal talks when you meet her at school or at work. Few days down the road make plans again to hangout or watch a movie. You could also ask her to wing you and give feedback.
